Karen Egan, Ph.D.

Karen Egan is the Associate Sports Psychologist in the University of Virginia’s Athletics Department, where she serves 25 varsity teams by providing mental health and well-being treatment, life and sport performance enhancement, concussion education/management, and psychoeducation of athletes, teams, and coaches. She completed her postdoctoral residency at the University of California, Davis and previously worked at the University of Maryland, College Park.  Dr. Egan is a licensed clinical psychologist and earned her Ph.D. from American University.
