The National Center for Drug Free Sport, Inc. (Drug Free Sport®) is a team of accessible, world-class experts in partnership with leading sport organizations around the world, providing unbiased and customized drug-testing programs and other drug prevention initiatives to ensure fair and safe sport.
The Gordie Center at the University of Virginia creates and disseminates evidence-informed programs and materials to decrease the negative consequences of hazardous drinking and illegal drug use among college students. We partner with students to promote peer intervention and education, particularly to reduce celebratory drinking, promote student-athlete health and wellness; and provide support for UVa students in recovery from substance abuse. The Gordie Center provides conferences, training courses, workshops and consultation to create healthier campus communities.
myPlaybook is an evidence-based program designed to prevent alcohol and other drug related harm. This interactive, web-based program engages students using state-of-the-art instructional design. myPlaybook is divided into two separate programs: the collegiate program was created specifically for student-athletes, and the high school program is designed for all students but includes an extra component for those participating in athletics.

The NCAA Sport Science Institute (SSI) is the association’s national center for excellence whose mission is to promote and develop safety, excellence and wellness in college student-athletes, and to foster life-long physical and mental development. The SSI is devoted to research, education, collaboration, policy development and best practice guidelines that will benefit the safety, excellence and wellness of the intercollegiate student-athlete. In order to further its vision and mission, the SSI partners and works collaboratively with member institutions and strategically aligned organizations.
TEAM Coalition is an alliance of professional and collegiate sports, entertainment facilities, concessionaires, stadium service providers, the beer industry, distillers, broadcasters, governmental traffic safety experts, and others working together to promote responsible drinking and positive fan behavior at sports and entertainment facilities.
IPAHW is at the forefront of excellence in health promotion for athletes of all ages and levels of competition.
